Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $1,744 per week

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Medical‑Surgical care for a 13‑week travel assignment in Palestine, Texas. The position offers 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts, with a weekly pay of $1,744.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize care based on acute conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor reactions, and document findings.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IV lines, and assist physicians during examinations.
• Educate patients and families about surgical procedures, post‑operative care, and discharge plans.
• Participate in discharge planning and implement patient education as directed.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience in a Med‑Surg setting.
• Current RN license in Texas.
• ACLS and BLS certifications (additional certifications may be required).
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 lb routinely and up to 50 lb occasionally.
