Transportation Coordinator

About the role
The Transportation Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Transportation department at HomeGoods' Tucson Distribution Center. You will work closely with internal teams and external carriers to ensure merchandise moves efficiently from the DC to stores.
Key responsibilities
- Execute cross‑dock and store delivery plans, optimizing shipping schedules and peak‑season strategies.
- Monitor key performance indicators, perform root‑cause analysis, and develop action plans to meet budget targets.
- Assist the Transportation Manager with yard staffing, scheduling, and overall inbound/outbound logistics.
- Coordinate with Field Leadership, Store Operations, Loss Prevention, and carriers to uphold TJX service standards.
- Plan truck capacity, secure appropriate carrier and trailer resources, and maintain steady flow of shipments.
- Audit the Yard Management System for carrier and trailer accuracy.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with internal partners and external providers.
- Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and propose solutions.
Required skills
- Experience using a Yard Management System.

- Competitive hourly wage ranging from $19.00 to $22.50.
- Monday‑Thursday shift schedule (12 PM – 10:30 PM).
