Training Support Foreman I

About the role

The Training Support Foreman I supervises the Training Tech Staff and Student Workers while overseeing maintenance, renovations, and construction of training facilities at the Public Safety Training Center and related sites in Bryan, Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and assign work to training technicians and student workers.
• Maintain, renovate, and construct training projects, buildings, and grounds.
• Control inventory, order equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Support training deliveries across multiple ranges, tracks, and specialized training areas.
• Manage third‑party facility usage, including preparation, inspections, monitoring, and safety liaison duties.
• Perform preventative maintenance work orders and minor building repairs.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent; or an Associate’s degree with two years related experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Four years of experience in basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, machinery/equipment operation, building trades, construction, welding, pipefitting, concrete work, or heavy‑equipment operation.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license (or obtain within 30 days) and Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• 30‑hour OSHA training (or obtain within the first 12 months).
