Training and LMS Coordinator

About the role

The Training and LMS Coordinator supports Easterseals PORT Health’s mission by ensuring all staff receive timely, compliant learning opportunities. This role blends administrative precision, data integrity, and customer service to strengthen workforce development and quality improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule new‑hire orientation, mandatory trainings, and continuing education across all programs and locations.
• Communicate training opportunities, requirements, and deadlines to employees and supervisors.
• Prepare training materials, manage registrations, and track attendance for facilitators and department leaders.
• Maintain accurate training records to meet CARF, DHHS, and internal compliance standards.
• Administer the Relias Learning Management System (or future LMS), including user accounts, content uploads, assignments, and technical support.
• Generate and distribute reports on training status, compliance progress, and overdue items.
• Troubleshoot user issues, coordinate with LMS support, and ensure prompt resolution.
• Conduct regular data audits, manage permissions, and synchronize employee data with HRIS and IT systems.
• Assist in designing new learning initiatives such as leadership development and program‑specific training.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
• Experience coordinating staff training and managing compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Relias or a comparable Learning Management System.
• Ability to administer user accounts, upload content, generate reports, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Experience conducting data audits and maintaining accurate training records.
