Trailer Mechanic – Full-Time (Phoenix, AZ)

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic for its Phoenix, AZ Service Center. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining a fleet of trailers to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic procedures on trailers to identify mechanical problems.
• Perform repair work and replace defective parts or components.
• Execute routine preventive maintenance and overall trailer upkeep.

Required profile

• Experience performing safety inspections and preparing required FMCSA documentation.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and service bulletins.
• Proven experience repairing or replacing defective parts, components, or systems.
• Experience testing equipment to verify performance against manufacturer specifications.
• Background in trailer preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lb and work in varying climate conditions.
• Own set of tools and a dependable work ethic.
