Traffic Safety Program Manager

About the role
The Traffic Safety Program Manager will lead a statewide traffic safety training initiative funded by the Arkansas Highway Safety Office. Working within the Criminal Justice Institute, the manager will support law‑enforcement agencies by delivering training on impaired‑driving enforcement, standardized field sobriety testing, and drug recognition.
Key responsibilities
- Administer, coordinate, and execute the grant‑funded traffic safety training program.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state grant requirements.
- Supervise program personnel and manage program deliverables.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Criminal Justice Institute, the Arkansas Highway Safety Office, and participating law‑enforcement agencies.
- Oversee curriculum development and delivery for impaired‑driving, field sobriety, and drug‑recognition training.
- Maintain regular, reliable attendance and uphold program standards.
Required profile
- Experience in program administration and coordination, preferably in law‑enforcement or traffic safety contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage grant‑funded projects and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Strong organizational, supervisory, and stakeholder‑communication skills.
