Testing Specialist

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a Testing Specialist to deliver testing and training services to internal customers. Working under general supervision, you will ensure testing environments are ready, software systems are maintained, and data-driven insights are provided to support program operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide testing and training services to customers, maintaining required certifications and licenses.
• Coordinate logistics for testing sessions, schedule facilities, and prepare equipment.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and upgrades of software and computer systems.
• Research, analyze, and report program/operation data through regular and ad‑hoc statistical reports.
• Maintain budget records for the program and assist in monitoring expenditures.

Required profile

• Associate's degree (or equivalent experience).
• At least three (3) years of relevant work experience; experience may substitute for the degree on a year‑for‑year basis.
