Testing Proctor – Computer‑Based Exam Support

About the role
The Office of Testing and Evaluation Services (OTES) at LSU seeks reliable Testing Proctors to staff its Computer‑Based Testing Center. Proctors ensure a fair, secure, and consistent testing environment for thousands of students each semester.
Key responsibilities
- Check‑in students, verify identification and exam details, and assign seats/computer stations.
- Secure personal electronic devices before entry and ensure only approved materials are used.
- Monitor exam rooms to confirm independent work and maintain test integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness and order of testing rooms, and collect all materials after each exam.
- Adapt to flexible schedules, including morning, afternoon, evening, and occasional Saturday shifts, especially during mid‑terms and finals.

- Ability to work varied hours and handle extended exam periods.
