Test Systems Deployment Engineer – Aerospace Test & Integration

About the role

We’re looking for a Test Systems Deployment Engineer to join our team in Torrance, CA. In this role you will bring complex aerospace test systems from final design through deployment, installation, validation, and customer acceptance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead deployment and customer acceptance of advanced test equipment used to validate aerospace flight‑control systems.
• Support assembly, integration, and troubleshooting of multi‑axis servo‑hydraulic and electromechanical test systems.
• Partner with design engineers and technicians to resolve technical issues during system build and integration.
• Develop and execute verification test procedures, analyze results and drive issue resolution.
• Coordinate customer validation and correlation testing activities.
• Ensure software, calibration procedures, technical documentation and system configurations are complete before deployment.
• Assess facility readiness and support installation at Moog and customer locations.
• Develop user documentation, conduct operator training and maintain configuration management.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and provide hands‑on technical support as the primary coordination point for deployments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Three or more years of experience supporting development, integration, production testing or deployment of complex engineering systems.
• Experience with closed‑loop servo‑hydraulic, electromechanical or automated test equipment.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills in complex technical environments.
• Ability to travel approximately 10‑15% and obtain/maintain a U.S. security clearance.
