Project Manager, Clinical Projects

About the role

PolyPeptide is seeking a Project Manager, Clinical Projects in Torrance, CA, to lead customer-owned clinical projects from kickoff through successful delivery. It is a full-time, customer-facing role in a fast-paced, regulated environment, partnering with customers, internal technical teams, Supply Chain, Commercial Operations, Quality and Site Leadership to turn customer agreements into clear action plans.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination and execution of customer clinical projects from initiation through completion
• Build and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, risks and deliverables
• Serve as the central point of contact for customers and internal project teams
• Lead cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams and monitor scope, risks and bottlenecks
• Drive milestone adherence and coordinate with Supply Chain on deliveries and Commercial Operations on invoicing
• Organize and lead internal and external meetings, prepare agendas, minutes, status reports and presentations
• Communicate progress to customers and stakeholders, escalate blocking issues and share lessons learned

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, business or related discipline
• 3 to 5 years of project management experience
• Experience leading cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
• Preferred: experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, CDMO or other regulated manufacturing environments; PMP or similar certification; advanced degree; direct customer-facing experience

Salary: $85k - $105k.
