Test Equipment Sustainment Intern

About the role

Moog’s Test Equipment Sustainment team within the Military Aircraft Group is looking for a spring/summer intern to support the operation of deployed test equipment. The role is based onsite in Torrance, CA and offers hands‑on experience in sustainment engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure continued operation of deployed test equipment throughout the product life cycle.
• Provide technical support to engineers as needed.
• Contribute input on project processes, strategies and execution.
• Work as a multidisciplinary member of a creative, independent team.
• Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.

Required profile

• Enrolled in an Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s program at an accredited university.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 (or as specified by the department).
• Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
• Professional disposition with effective communication skills.
• Strong desire to learn, positive attitude, and ability to work in a team environment.
