About the role

Infosys is seeking a Test Automation Consultant to join its SURE (Services, Utilities, Resources, Energy) unit in New York. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality automated testing solutions for clients in the services, utilities and energy sectors, leveraging AI and digital technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Document business requirements and support the elicitation process.
• Facilitate design discussions and capture design decisions for software solutions.
• Develop, code, and integrate new features while ensuring system stability.
• Perform code reviews, maintain code repositories, and implement test strategies.
• Analyze test results, coordinate bug fixes, and uphold software quality standards.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive measures to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities for knowledge sharing.
