Terminal Operator – Bulk Loading & Unloading

About the role

We are seeking a Terminal Operator to join Buzzi Unicem USA’s cement production facilities. The role involves safely loading bulk trucks and unloading barges at our terminal, ensuring product specifications are met and supporting continuous operations.

Key responsibilities

• Load bulk trucks from designated silos in a safe, efficient, and timely manner following the Terminal Manager’s instructions.
• Ensure each load complies with customer specifications and legal limits.
• Assist in mooring barges, connect unloading hoses, and operate manual unloading gates, air valves, and blowers.
• Monitor the unloading process continuously to maintain safety and quality standards.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and perform duties in a safe manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of the terminal area and grounds, and collect daily/weekly samples as required.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and follow safety procedures.
• Attention to detail to meet load specifications and regulatory limits.
• Willingness to learn and develop additional skills within the terminal operation.
