Temporary Leasing Professional

About the role

The Temporary Leasing Professional supports the community’s marketing, leasing and renewal initiatives to meet occupancy and revenue targets. You will guide prospective residents through the leasing process, ensure smooth move‑ins, and foster resident satisfaction throughout their tenancy.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments and process applications.
• Perform credit and criminal background checks, prepare lease documents and coordinate move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before occupancy, confirm move‑in readiness and coordinate any maintenance needs.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Execute marketing tactics such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity and maintain resident data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospective residents.
• Attention to detail for unit inspections, lease preparation and data entry.
• Ability to stay informed about local market conditions and adapt marketing strategies accordingly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Experience using online marketing tools including Craigslist and Facebook.
