Temporary Inventory Clerk (UHealth Medical Campus)

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Supply Chain department is seeking a full‑time temporary Inventory Clerk to manage incoming and outgoing supplies at the UHealth Medical Campus.

Key responsibilities

• Compile and maintain records of quantity, type and value of stocked materials, equipment and supplies.
• Perform physical counts, compare with system records and resolve discrepancies.
• Process receipts and disbursements, compute inventory balances, prices and costs.
• Prepare inventory reports, price lists and shortage notices.
• Stock and issue materials, maintain “PAR” levels and ensure proper part identification labeling.
• Place and verify orders for stock and non‑stock items using Workday.
• Evaluate vendor quotes, follow up on back‑orders and maintain vendor information in the TMA system.
• Conduct ongoing cycle counts to keep TMA inventory data accurate.

Required profile

• Ability to follow university and unit‑level policies and procedures.
• Capability to operate the stockroom and handle essential personnel duties.
• Attention to detail for accurate record‑keeping and discrepancy investigation.
