Temporary Assistant Manager – Property Management

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Temporary Assistant Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of a residential community in Flower Mound. This role focuses on accounting, bookkeeping, rent collection, and financial reporting using property‑management software.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite software, ensuring accurate data entry, updates, and system backups.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Process vendor invoices, obtain approvals, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and coordinate with accounting and owners.
• Follow eviction procedures, represent the community in court hearings, and manage resident move‑out processes.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail with solid accounting fundamentals.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently while supporting the Community Manager.
