Técnico de Servicio – Equipos Electrónicos y Mecánicos

About the role

The Service Technician will ensure high‑quality customer service by installing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a variety of electronic and mechanical equipment. The role includes managing warranty processes, technical documentation and providing specialized support while maintaining confidentiality and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide optimal technical service and high‑quality support to customers.
• Diagnose, repair, maintain and assemble equipment such as printers, plotters, cutters, electronic whiteboards and traffic‑control devices.
• Install sold equipment and verify proper operation.
• Deliver basic training to customers on equipment usage.
• Inspect incoming equipment for repair, complete work‑sheet documentation in the OTIXE system, and verify parts against purchase orders.
• Manage warranty cases with suppliers and validate service order payments.
• Handle service calls via Help Desk or Field Services, process received payments, and participate in physical inventories.
• Attend daily SCRUM meetings and maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to confidentiality protocols.

Required profile

• High school diploma in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Previous experience in mechatronics, electronics or IT.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the island and occasionally abroad.
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
