Technology Transactions Attorney

About the role

Our client is looking for a Junior Associate to join its IP Technology Transactions practice. You will work at the intersection of innovation and business, collaborating with dynamic clients across cutting‑edge industries and helping shape technology‑focused deals.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate contracts for technology, social media, e‑commerce, consulting, financial services, and life‑science clients.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on high‑growth, impact‑driven matters.
• Provide meaningful client exposure and hands‑on experience from day one.
• Support the team in delivering high‑quality legal services in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Up to 1 year of experience in contract drafting and negotiation (including internships, externships, or in‑house roles).
• J.D. from an accredited law school or a current 3L graduating this academic year.
• Strong academic performance with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Admission to the Minnesota or Illinois bar, or eligibility to waive in and obtain admission shortly after joining.
