Technology Support Specialist I – Full Benefits

About the role

The Mossdale School is seeking a Technology Support Specialist I to provide day‑to‑day technical assistance for staff and students. This full‑time position works Monday‑Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues on school computers and related technology.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, perform routine updates, and ensure devices are ready for classroom use.
• Provide timely on‑site support during the regular work shift and assist with technology setup for special projects.
• Document incidents and solutions in the school’s support tracking system.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent (proof required upon hire).
• At least two years of experience supporting computers and technology.
• Ability to obtain TB clearance and undergo fingerprinting at the employee’s expense.
• Preference will be given to internal candidates.

Required skills

• Computer hardware troubleshooting.
• Software support and installation.
