Technology Audit & Advisory Experienced Consultant

About the role

Protiviti is hiring an Experienced Consultant for its Technology Audit & Advisory practice in Phoenix. The practice helps clients manage technology-related risks, protect enterprise value and adopt AI and automation, and covers topics such as cybersecurity, cloud assurance, IT general controls, data privacy and IT Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Training, mentorship and time and project management skills are provided.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct interviews, compile and analyze data, and document findings
• Build professional relationships with client and project team members
• Learn time and project management and take ownership of assignments
• Assess, identify risk and advise clients on technology topics including cybersecurity, cloud assurance, ITGC, data privacy, IT Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and emerging technologies

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as accounting, finance, information technology, cybersecurity or a business-related field
• 1+ years in internal audit, consulting, assurance services, risk and control programs or a related field
• Interest in a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries
• Background check required for offers of employment

Required skills

• Understanding of IT audit methodologies and deliverables (process flows, work programs, audit reports, control summaries)
• Knowledge of common internal control frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, ITIL
• Sarbanes-Oxley compliance knowledge
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Visio and Access secondary
• PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, RPA and/or R a plus
• CIA, CRMA, CISA, CISM, CISSP or similar certification a plus

What we offer

• Salary range of $66,000-$99,000, with a bonus target of $2,000
• Hybrid workplace with variable remote/in-person mix and occasional client travel
