Technical Service Specialist – Automotive Refinish (Southern California)

About the role

Surventis Coatings is seeking a Technical Service Specialist to support automotive collision repair shops across Southern California. The role combines field‑based technical assistance, training, and product demonstrations to help customers achieve optimal paint application results.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site technical assistance and training to body shop customers and distribution partners.
• Demonstrate new product lines and support the sales team in converting new business.
• Identify and recommend process improvements within body shops.
• Stay current on product developments and convey updates to customers.
• Document customer interactions and findings using the internal CRM system.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED acceptable.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience training or working hands‑on with automotive coatings in the automotive market.
• Strong communication skills and ability to travel throughout the Orange County, Riverside, San Diego, and Los Angeles metro areas.
