Technical Sales Manager – Advanced Metallization

About the role

The Technical Sales Manager – Advanced Metallization will join BASF’s Electronic Materials team in Hillsboro, Oregon. The role focuses on driving growth and innovation of metallization solutions for advanced semiconductor manufacturing, supporting customers and equipment suppliers from concept to commercialization.

Key responsibilities

• Identify industry trends, unmet customer needs, and growth drivers in advanced metallization for semiconductor devices.
• Lead cross‑functional projects with US customers and deposition tool vendors, ensuring timely execution and alignment with global technical teams.
• Evaluate business potential, launch new products, and expand existing product lines.
• Initiate strategic collaborations with customers and tool suppliers to accelerate adoption of BASF’s metallization solutions.
• Gather and analyze market intelligence on emerging technologies, customer requirements, and competitive landscape.
• Provide technical support for new applications and product development, working closely with R&D, sales, and manufacturing.

Required profile

• Experience with semiconductor industry standards and advanced node requirements (sub‑10nm) or advanced packaging.
• Familiarity with metallization processes and related chemistries.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional projects and collaborate with global teams.
• Strong analytical skills to translate market needs into product specifications.
