About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Technical Project/Program Manager II to lead project planning and execution for semiconductor equipment initiatives. The role supports internal and external customers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project plans and coordinate activities from planning through implementation.
• Maintain matrices for process improvements and track project schedules, costs, and resources.
• Generate reports, tracking charts, checklists, and project scheduling documents.
• Align internal resources to meet on‑time and budget performance objectives.
• Interface with external suppliers and monitor progress against quality and cost metrics.
• Report progress to internal customers and stakeholders.

• Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in the discipline and broadens capabilities.
• Understands key business drivers and applies this understanding to accomplish work.
• Provides informal guidance to new team members without formal supervisory responsibilities.
