Data Analytics & Business Operations Spring Co‑Op or Summer Intern

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated intern to support strategic business operations, process improvement, and data analytics initiatives. The role is ideal for students in engineering disciplines who want to apply data‑driven solutions to real‑world business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, clean, analyze, and interpret data from multiple business systems.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate performance and trends.
• Support forecasting, planning, and operational improvement projects.
• Analyze business processes, identify automation opportunities, and document workflow maps.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a curious mindset.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across functions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with data querying concepts; Python, R, or similar analytics tools are a plus.
