Technical Project Manager – Vehicle Motion EPS

About the role

The Technical Project Manager will lead a cross‑functional team to bring an electronic steering module from concept to series production for Bosch Vehicle Motion. This role serves as the primary technical interface with the OEM and drives the project through acquisition, development, validation and launch.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of software, hardware, mechanical and electrical component managers, developers and calibration engineers.
• Define, track and manage work packages, requirements and customer specifications.
• Coordinate design change requests, system and software validation, and ensure compliance with ISO26262 and ASPICE.
• Conduct weekly meetings with the customer and internal teams, and report status to US senior management.
• Prepare technical presentations and maintain all project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering.
• 4+ years of technical project management experience in automotive or related heavy‑equipment sectors.
• Hands‑on experience with vehicle networking, diagnostics, and complex system debugging.
• Experience with vehicle and system test and release procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to conduct vehicle testing.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO26262 functional safety and ASPICE process standards.
• Understanding of vehicle architecture, chassis control interfaces and embedded control software.
• Systems/requirements engineering and calibration of EPS or steering systems.
• Familiarity with vehicle dynamics and braking systems.
