Technical Project Manager

About the role

The Technical Project Manager will join World Equestrian Center’s engineering team in Ocala, Florida, driving the delivery of enterprise‑grade software solutions that support the organization’s equestrian and hospitality operations. Reporting to the Software Engineering Manager, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and a cross‑functional engineering group.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate work across engineers, designers, and business stakeholders in a high‑trust environment.
• Translate business requirements into clear scope, milestones, and actionable plans for a small, cross‑functional team.
• Create and maintain documentation – requirements, plans, decisions, and status – to keep teams and stakeholders aligned.
• Perform business analysis to clarify needs, surface trade‑offs, and align initiatives with organizational goals.
• Maintain visibility into project status, risks, and dependencies, communicating proactively to stakeholders.
• Produce delivery artifacts such as milestone plans, release notes, and executive‑level progress summaries.
• Establish lightweight planning and review rhythms, continuously improving work organization and tracking.
• Balance scope, timeline, and quality, making pragmatic trade‑offs in collaboration with engineering leadership.
• Research unfamiliar problem domains to support increasingly complex projects.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of professional experience in technical project management or a related field.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional engineering teams and deliver complex software initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with experience performing business analysis and risk management.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of aligning diverse stakeholders.
