Technical Program Manager, Recruiting Technology

About the role

Anthropic is rapidly scaling its recruiting function and needs a Technical Program Manager to orchestrate the technology ecosystem that powers hiring. The role sits in the centralized TPM organization and works closely with Recruiting and People leadership to deliver a coherent view of priorities, dependencies and progress.

Key responsibilities

• Build and run cross‑team planning and operating cadence for recruiting technology, maintaining a shared roadmap and single source of truth for leadership.
• Drive high‑priority cross‑team programs end‑to‑end, handling scoping, trade‑off decisions and delivery across teams without a common reporting line.
• Lead technical interconnection work, integrating third‑party platforms, internal tooling and the data‑analytics layer to ensure clean information flow.
• Partner with engineering and AI teams to embed Claude deeper into recruiting workflows while preserving human‑in‑the‑loop controls.
• Connect recruiting to company‑wide planning by linking headcount needs to broader business roadmaps for proactive staffing.
• Own build‑vs‑buy analyses and vendor evaluations that span multiple teams, including security, contract and integration considerations.
• Establish program infrastructure such as governance, status reporting, risk tracking and escalation paths for rapid leadership decisions.
• Define and maintain governance frameworks for program risk and escalation.
• Facilitate vendor and security assessments for third‑party recruiting platforms.

Required profile

• Experience managing complex technical programs that involve multiple cross‑functional teams.
• Proven ability to create and maintain shared roadmaps, DRIs and dependency sequencing.
• Comfort working with recruiting, people operations and AI product stakeholders.
