Technical Data Manager (TS/SCI)

About the role

CACI is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Technical Data Manager to support its Air Force customer at Warner Robins, GA. The position sits within the Enterprise Product Support (EPS) team supporting the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS). The role leads the development, review and baseline management of technical documentation and system visualization artifacts, including data flow diagrams, authorization and system boundary drawings and hardware baseline configurations, to support operational maintenance, engineering changes and sustainment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain end-to-end system data flow diagrams covering data ingest, processing pipelines, dissemination and network routing across the AF DCGS architecture.
• Map communication protocols, port/protocol/service information and data exchange interfaces between hardware subsystems and external enclaves.
• Develop and maintain data flow diagrams of system devices, virtual server environments and VLAN architectures across enterprise multi-system networks.
• Author and update System and Authorization Boundary Diagrams in line with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Air Force security guidelines, defining hardware boundaries, security perimeters and cryptographic interfaces.
• Create and update technical drawings, rack elevations, schematics, cable plant run-sheets and site layouts using Microsoft Visio and industry-standard drafting tools.
• Ingest engineer-provided redlines, sketches, blueprints and drawing change requests to produce production-grade configuration baselines.
• Maintain strict configuration control over drawing packages, baseline schematics and technical change documentation, and conduct drawing and physical configuration audits.
• Analyze engineering and operational data to build technical data packages for depot and commercial sustainment, working with systems engineers, network architects, cybersecurity specialists and configuration managers.

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 7+ years of related engineering, configuration management or technical documentation experience.
• 4+ years of direct experience developing, managing, baseline-controlling and publishing technical data packages and architecture diagrams in an enterprise DoD/military IT/C4ISR environment.
• Proven ability to create and interpret logical/physical data flows, system security boundaries and rack/hardware schematics.
• Desired: knowledge of AF DCGS architecture and lifecycle sustainment, familiarity with DoD RMF artifact requirements, experience with automated CM tools or document repositories, and ITIL v4 or Configuration Management certifications.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Visio (custom stencils, layered schematics, data-linked diagrams) or equivalent technical illustration software.
• High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and effective technical writing and cross-functional communication.
