Technical Coordinator – Field Documentation

About the role

The Technical Coordinator – Field Documentation supports Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) by managing documentation of real property and installed equipment across Site 200 and Site 300. The role ensures accurate configuration management and preventive maintenance data for electrical and mechanical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and document real property and equipment inside and outside facilities, capturing nameplate data and technical specifications.
• Enter data into databases and AutoCAD drawings, providing input and recommendations for engineering design.
• Provide status updates to supervisors and requestors, and assist in resolving technical issues affecting project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with ES&H, security requirements, and LLNL policies, reporting hazards as needed.

Required profile

• Associate degree in electrical or mechanical technology or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and identify solutions for complex documentation challenges.
• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage changing priorities while maintaining schedules.
• Effective written and verbal communication for interaction with diverse technical and scientific personnel.
