Technical Buyer – Supply Chain Procurement

About the role

The Technical Buyer supports Advita’s supply chain by sourcing technical components that align with the company’s strategic goals. This role ensures efficient procurement, delivering value and quality while collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Create, execute, and continuously improve standardized work processes to meet team objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships using Advita’s Preferred Supplier agreement framework and expand the supply base.
• Develop cost roadmaps linked to margin management through supply‑chain optimization.
• Lead standardization initiatives and reduce complexity within procurement processes.
• Analyze commodities markets to identify cost and availability risks and opportunities.
• Align product and technology roadmaps with suppliers to support technological advancements.
• Provide support to other teams, fostering collaboration and teamwork.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field (certifications a plus).
• 2+ years of experience in technical buying or procurement, preferably at a mid‑level.
• Strong understanding of technical components, commodities markets and supply‑chain dynamics.
• Proven negotiation, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
