About the role

Join 3M as a Technical Aide in Maplewood, MN, and support cutting‑edge research projects on a part‑time, temporary basis. You will work on‑site with senior researchers, gaining hands‑on experience while contributing to product and technology development.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior researchers on assigned R&D projects.
• Document detailed experimental procedures and results in 3M electronic lab notebooks.
• Analyze experimental data and provide observations to the project team.
• Coordinate with other R&D functions such as analytical chemistry, process engineering, and related groups.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or higher program in a scientific or engineering discipline (e.g., Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, etc.).
• Current cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Completed at least one laboratory course or internship.
• Strong organizational abilities and clear written and oral communication.
