Technical Account Executive

About the role

Resend is seeking a Technical Account Executive to join its Buyer Experience Squad. This remote, Americas‑time‑zone role focuses on building and closing high‑intent inbound opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and preventing churn.

Key responsibilities

• Work high‑intent inbound opportunities from enriched, segmented enterprise logos and high‑growth companies.
• Validate, iterate, and scale existing playbooks; run experiments across messaging, timing, and channels.
• Expand existing customers by identifying accounts for higher tiers or additional products.
• Prevent churn by distinguishing accounts worth saving from natural lifecycle churn.
• Act as the voice of the customer, feeding learnings back to product, marketing, and success teams.

Required profile

• Experience building a role, team, or function from scratch without a finished playbook.
• Customer‑obsessed with curiosity about technical problems and ability to engage both infrastructure engineers and developers.
• Scientific mindset: formulate hypotheses, test, measure, and iterate.
• Strong documentation habits and collaborative approach.
• Comfortable with travel for conferences, on‑site prospects, and team events.

Required skills

• Ability to hold credible conversations about infrastructure, APIs, and email deliverability.
