Team Truck Driver (CDL‑A) – $140k‑$160k

About the role

R+L Carriers is hiring CDL‑A Team Drivers to pull van trailers up to 53' or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations. Drivers enjoy a home‑every‑week schedule, typically five days on the road and two days off.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Class A equipment, including van trailers and double trailers, safely and efficiently.
• Transport freight between Boise service center and designated destinations.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Complete pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year of verifiable Class A experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in the past 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA military‑to‑civilian transition).
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and safety‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.
• Double‑trailer handling.
• Triple‑trailer handling (preferred).
• Tanker endorsement (preferred).
• Haz‑mat endorsement and experience (preferred).
• LTL freight handling experience (preferred).
