Tax Innovation Data Engineer Manager

About the role

As a Tax Innovation Data Engineer Manager within PwC’s Tax practice, you will lead the design and delivery of data infrastructure that transforms raw tax data into actionable insights. You will guide a team of engineers, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with clients to build robust data pipelines and analytics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data infrastructure and systems for efficient processing and analysis.
• Develop, manage and optimise data pipelines, integration and transformation solutions.
• Lead project planning, execution and delivery of data engineering initiatives.
• Utilise Azure Data Factory and Databricks to enhance data solutions.
• Build and maintain data warehouses and data lakes supporting business intelligence.
• Apply data modelling and dimensional modelling techniques to optimise architecture.
• Ensure data quality, validation and security within analytics frameworks.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering innovation and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
• Proven leadership or managerial experience.
