Tax Associate – Exempt Services

About the role

Join CLA’s National Tax Exempt (NExT) team as an Associate, providing tailored tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse client base. You will work closely with senior tax professionals to deliver high‑quality solutions while developing your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to deliver customized tax compliance and advisory services.
• Research and analyze complex tax issues to support client decisions.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day tax workstreams with Seniors, Managers, and Directors to keep projects on schedule.
• Adopt new tax concepts, software, and automation tools to improve efficiency and client experience.
• Assist in creating standardized templates and tools for the tax practice.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam preferred.
