Tax Analyst

About the role

A leading global commodities firm is looking for an experienced senior Tax Analyst to lead inbound tax strategy, M&A support, and compliance for its U.S. operations. The role combines deep technical tax knowledge with strategic planning to enable cross‑border investments in a fast‑moving industry.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare federal 1120F and state tax returns, extensions, and estimated tax payments.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for quarterly income tax provision calculations.
• Prepare Forms 5472 and ensure accurate filing.
• Collaborate with the Senior Tax Analyst and Tax Manager on income tax provisions and overall tax return compliance.
• Support M&A transactions and cross‑border structuring from a tax perspective.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of international tax experience in a Big 4 or multinational corporate tax department.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. international tax provisions and cross‑border structuring.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required); MST, JD, or CPA preferred.
