Tax Accountant

About the role

Join a well‑established independent CPA firm in Addison, TX, as a Tax Accountant. You will work alongside experienced professionals on a broad mix of individual and business tax engagements, gaining visibility and responsibility as you grow.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and business entities.
• Work across Forms 1040, 1065, 1120 and 1120S.
• Support more complex tax engagements as your experience develops.
• Collaborate with senior staff and partners on client assignments.
• Gain exposure to tax planning and advisory work.
• Build lasting client relationships and become a trusted point of contact.
• Assist with bookkeeping and payroll support when needed.

Required profile

• Approximately five years of public‑accounting tax experience.
• Experience preparing returns for both individuals and business entities.
• Enthusiastic about learning and building a long‑term public‑accounting career.
• Proactive, takes ownership, and comfortable asking questions.
• CPA, EA, or progress toward either is welcomed but not mandatory.
