Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

Morris & Dickson Co. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive hiring across multiple business areas. The role partners closely with hiring managers and the HR team to attract, assess, and onboard top talent in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs, role requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, educational institutions, and other channels.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and guide candidates through the hiring process.
• Coordinate interview schedules and ensure a smooth, professional candidate experience.
• Create and maintain job postings and recruitment documentation.
• Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and support recruiting workflow improvements.
• Participate in job fairs, recruiting events, and employer branding initiatives as needed.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, HR, or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience in a highly regulated industry is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow‑through skills.
• Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable building relationships at all levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Familiarity with sourcing tools and techniques.
