Systems & Network Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, customer‑focused Systems & Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain IT and cybersecurity solutions for small to medium‑sized businesses in the Canton/Massillon area.

Key responsibilities

• Interface directly with clients to understand business needs and design aligned IT solutions.
• Architect, deploy and manage Microsoft 365 environments, including Entra ID and Intune configurations.
• Design, install and maintain network infrastructure—firewalls, switches, VPNs—ensuring security compliance.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity, performance and security incidents, logging tickets and time entries.
• Use RMM tools to push patches, firmware updates and develop automation scripts.
• Maintain detailed documentation of client environments, configurations and changes.
• Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 technicians on new technologies and internal procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience as a Systems and Network Engineer, preferably in an MSP or multi‑tenant setting.
• Proven experience managing multiple Windows Server instances and Microsoft 365 cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of advanced networking concepts, firewalls, routing and VPNs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently.

• Salary range $75,000 – $90,000 per year
