Systems Engineer, Vehicle OS

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking a Systems Engineer with strong robotics and software expertise to define and manage system and software requirements for a new Vehicle OS product. The role is central to shaping the technical direction of a strategically important project.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage system‑level and software‑level requirements to ensure the built system meets intended goals.
• Create and maintain system and software requirements, define system boundaries, capabilities, and functional features.
• Translate customer needs into system requirements and operational objectives.
• Oversee validation and verification of requirements at both system and software levels.
• Derive features from user journeys and use Cameo to build and analyze functional and logical architectures.
• Ensure traceability across user journeys, features, system and subsystem requirements, and test cases.
• Collaborate daily with developers to guide technical implementation and maintain design fidelity.
• Define processes for ASPICE Level 2 compliance and work with QA to meet industry standards.
• Configure Polarion and Cameo for requirements and architecture management compliance.

Required profile

• Experience in systems engineering for robotics or automotive software.
• Ability to convert customer needs into clear, actionable system requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to traceability and compliance.
• Effective communication with cross‑functional teams, including developers and QA.
