Systems Engineer (Multiple Levels) - TS/SCI with Poly

About the role

CACI is looking for Systems Engineers of all levels with experience in or around the Fort Meade, Maryland area. The role uses Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) experience to support the customer's strategy for advancing national defense goals. The position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and is full time, local travel only.

Key responsibilities

• Manage system and derived requirements so production systems fit the defined architecture (DoDAF, SOA, etc.)
• Help develop system and functional requirements and allocate them to hardware, software, facilities and personnel
• Coordinate action items from CCB meetings, design, program and test reviews
• Take part in Integrated Product Teams designing new capabilities
• Allocate process and error budgets, generate alternative system concepts and architectures
• Define verification methods and criteria, and develop system engineering documentation (plans, capability documents, specifications, interface control documents)
• Review work breakdown structures, work packages and the integrated master plan
• Develop derived requirements for information assurance services, basic mechanisms and security technologies

Required profile

• Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or a related field
• Years of experience planning and leading systems engineering efforts: Level 0 (0 years or 5 years with no BA), Level 1 (7 years or 12 years with no BA), Level 2 (14 years or 19 years with no BA), Level 3 (20 years or 25 years with no BA)

Required skills

• Familiarity with quantum algorithms/engineering, zero-trust engineering, AWS/cloud, agile engineering, hardware and software engineering, and military/special operations operations
