Systems Administrator – Various Levels (Contingent)

About the role

The Systems Administrator provides critical technical capability for enterprise server enclaves, virtualization, storage, and user access controls supporting global C4ISR and distribution operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, patch, and optimize Microsoft Windows Server (2019/2022) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (8/9) across physical and virtual environments.
• Administer VMware vSphere/vCenter, Active Directory domains, OUs, GPOs, and SCCM endpoint distributions.
• Manage NetApp ONTAP SAN/NAS storage and operate Veeam Backup & Replication to meet RTO/RPO requirements.
• Execute daily STIG/SCAP compliance scans, apply security hardening, and support RMF authorization packages.
• Handle elevated user privileges, PKI authentication, and Tier II incident escalation within defined QASP windows.

Required profile

• Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (or SC) with DISS and MP ICAM vetting.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science; 2+ years (intermediate) or 8+ years (senior) system administration experience in DoD or enterprise environments.
• Residential qualification and CAC access for privileged systems.
