Systems Administrator (Secret Clearance)

About the role

CACI is looking for a highly capable IT infrastructure professional to support a mission-critical customer program. You will administer, configure and manage servers, storage systems, virtualization platforms and network infrastructure so that hardware, software and system specifications function correctly, and you will help ensure the availability, performance, security and integrity of the infrastructure. The role requires a minimum Secret clearance and up to 10% local travel.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and manage IT infrastructure including servers, storage, virtual platforms and network connectivity, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Apply security patches and OS upgrades, and work with the cybersecurity team on security controls, access management and compliance
• Configure and deploy Windows and Linux servers and workstations, and maintain virtualization platforms
• Support infrastructure projects from planning through implementation, and write SOPs, configuration guides and technical documentation
• Diagnose complex problems across servers, OS, storage, networking and hardware, and provide on-site and remote support
• Present infrastructure solutions to technical and business stakeholders and communicate with executive leadership

Required profile

• Active Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure management, network administration or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience supporting U.S. military, DoD, Intelligence Community or other government customers
• Willingness to travel to the customer

Required skills

• Extensive Linux and Windows server and workstation administration and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of storage systems, backup solutions and disaster recovery
• Desired: virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), TCP/IP networking, security patch management, system hardening and security compliance
