Systems Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Systems Administrator to manage and support our server infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments. The role involves ensuring high availability of middleware components such as Apache Tomcat and supporting Java‑based enterprise applications, particularly within the aerospace and defense sector.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server and Linux server platforms.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Apache Tomcat instances.
• Support Java applications in production, handling incidents and performance issues.
• Perform system performance tuning, patch management, and routine maintenance.
• Analyze logs and implement monitoring solutions to proactively detect problems.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve cross‑layer issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Windows Server administration.
• Solid background in Linux server administration.
• Hands‑on experience with Apache Tomcat and Java‑based applications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across operating systems, middleware, and application layers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an operations/support team.
