About the role

Washington Technology Solutions (WaTech) is seeking an entry‑level Systems Administrator to join its Agency Technology Services (ATS) team. The role supports agency‑wide IT services, focusing on ServiceNow, PowerShell, and related platforms to ensure reliable delivery of critical business systems.

Key responsibilities

• Administer user access and system accounts across ServiceNow and related services.
• Migrate data from on‑premises environments to cloud solutions.
• Respond to and manage tickets using the agency IT Service Management (ITSM) tool.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow reports, dashboards, and workflow automations.
• Design low‑code/no‑code solutions with App Engine Studio and Power Apps.
• Write and troubleshoot JavaScript/GlideRecord scripts for data operations.
• Support REST API and Single Sign‑On (SSO) integrations.
• Install, configure, and monitor database management systems (DBMS) and related alerts.

Required profile

• Entry‑level experience or academic background in IT systems administration.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal customers and external vendors.

• ServiceNow platform (Flow Designer, App Engine Studio, reporting).
• PowerShell scripting.
• GitHub version control.
• Power Apps development.
• SQL and C# programming basics.
