Systems Administrator – Government Contractor

About the role

LCE, a 100% employee‑owned DoD contractor, is seeking a Systems Administrator to support multiple locations. The role involves maintaining and securing network and computer systems that underpin critical national‑security missions.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain hardware and software across workstations, servers, and virtualized environments.
• Manage VMware, Cisco, Windows, Linux, and other approved operating systems and applications.
• Administer server‑based systems, security devices, network storage, backups, messaging, and implement STIGs.
• Provide technical consultation on network, application, and security issues.
• Document work assignments and report progress via a government‑provided web portal.
• Support de‑classification, hard‑drive destruction, and equipment disposition for DRMO.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with an active security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Experience in network and computer systems administration within a government or defense environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a network operations team.
