Systems Administrator (C4ISR) - Secret Clearance

About the role

GDIT is recruiting a Systems Administrator for its Mission Training Complex Korea (MTC-K) site, supporting the Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS II) program. The role helps build and enable the readiness of the U.S. Army in the Pacific by monitoring and maintaining C4ISR systems, deploying network equipment for exercises and training, and managing security policies. It is an on-site position with 10-25% travel to other customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of C4ISR systems
• Perform regular system updates, patches and backups
• Deploy, configure and troubleshoot network devices (including cabling) for exercises, training events and special projects
• Integrate C4ISR components and systems in a live-virtual-concept (LVC) environment
• Implement and manage security policies and configurations, and maintain configuration documentation
• Provide input to staff writing technical documentation such as user manuals and training materials
• Prepare reports on analyses, findings and project progress and present them to management and customers
• Serve as a customer interface to resolve problems on time, and may act as a technical team or task leader
• Follow DoD directives, AR 25-2, NIST SP 800-53 and 800-39, and USARPAC guidance

Required profile

• BA/BS preferred in computer science, information systems or systems administration, or equivalent education, certifications or training
• 3+ years of related experience; military and/or MTC experience preferred
• US citizenship required; Secret clearance required (must currently hold it)
• SEC+ certification required

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of common MCiS platforms and C4ISR systems
• Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting
• Account provisioning and access control
• Networking hardware and software, including routers, switches and firewalls
• Database management systems, SQL and NoSQL
• Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems and security practices
