System Administrator – CI/CD & GitLab Automation (Texas)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to join our Code Management team in Texas. The role focuses on modernising our CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and ensuring secure, scalable operations across multiple cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise complex GitLab CI/CD pipelines using YAML best practices.
• Provision and manage self‑hosted GitLab instances, runners, groups, projects and permissions at scale.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform and Ansible.
• Apply GitOps practices to manage environment configurations and code deployments.
• Integrate monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to track GitLab health and pipeline performance.
• Provide 24/7 on‑call support, troubleshoot CI/CD incidents and maintain runbooks and documentation.

Required profile

• 15+ years of administration experience with complex applications and tools.
• Strong communication skills and proven cross‑team collaboration.
• Experience working with multiple Software Development Lifecycle methodologies.

Required skills

• GitLab (self‑managed), Artifactory, Xray, SonarQube.
• Terraform, Ansible.
• Kubernetes / OpenShift.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud.
• SAML/SSO, LDAP, RBAC, backup/restore for enterprise GitLab.
• Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
• YAML, GitOps, scripting/programming.
