SVP Corporate Controller

About the role

The Senior Vice President (SVP) Corporate Controller will lead all aspects of financial reporting, general accounting, and budgeting for a mission‑driven healthcare organization. Reporting to the CFO, this senior leader will act as a strategic partner in scaling the business organically and through acquisitions, while interfacing with the Board of Directors and private‑equity sponsors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate, timely financial statements and analyses for management, the Board, lenders, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee general accounting functions, payroll processing, vendor payments, and month‑end close activities.
• Support mergers and acquisitions, including due‑diligence, integration planning, and financial modeling.
• Collaborate with the CFO to develop and execute financial strategies that drive growth.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate finance, accounting, and financial reporting, preferably in a healthcare or services environment.
• Proven track record of leading finance teams and managing complex financial operations.
• Strong communication skills to interact with senior leadership, board members, and external investors.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and support strategic initiatives.
