Support Technician – Substance Use Disorder Treatment

About the role

The Support Technician ensures the safety of every client at CRI‑Help, a nonprofit substance‑use disorder treatment center. This onsite role provides leadership, supervision, and direct support to clients throughout their treatment journey.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure clients attend their scheduled groups on time.
• Supervise and direct clients in completing job assignments and daily tasks.
• Conduct routine checks, including urinalysis drug testing, skin checks, eye checks, and searches of clients and belongings.
• Complete all required documentation such as observation logs, incident reports, maintenance reports, and discharge forms.
• Attend shift‑change meetings and stay informed about new admissions, discharges, illnesses, and emergencies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of policies, procedures, and communications.
• Chart at least three clients per shift and perform regular tours of the facility.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to client safety and ethical care.
• Ability to supervise and lead clients in a 24/7 treatment environment.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
• Reliability in attending shift meetings and adhering to facility policies.
